THE OFFICIAL PRESIDENTIAL DANCE CHALLENGE
The Official Presidential Dance Challenge is on! Michael Ingbar, write-in candidate for President and founding member of the Dance Party, has "served" an official challenge to the leading candidates for President (Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Gary Johnson, and Jill Stein) to compete in a dance competition on Saturday, October 8th, 8PM at the Michael Ingbar Gallery in New York City, New York. Debate moderators and esteemed members of the media (Lester Holt, Anderson Cooper, Chris Wallace, and Martha Raddatz) have been invited to act as judges. Also invited is the honorary would-be-winner to this challenge, President Obama.
Guests will watch as candidates or their designated representatives defend their bids for the Presidency through dance (Michael will be represented by Brendan and Arielle, champions of his September 8th event). Competitors will perform a dance in the style of their choosing and we strongly encourage the candidates to dance with their running mates. Winners will be chosen based upon the strongest performance. In the event of a tie, a winner will be chosen by dance-off.

NATIONAL DANCE PARTY CONVENTION
&
MICHAEL INGBAR GALLERY FINAL SHOW - part one
You are cordially invited to attend the first ever Dance National Convention (DNC) of a new political party called the "Dance Party".
The party's revolutionary platform (a dance FLOOR) will look to give voters new hope and positivity in politics. One of the more radical tenets of Michael's platform is total world disarmament and the resolution of conflict through dance competitions. "Dance is a universal language that is perfectly suited to non-violent conflict resolution," Ingbar said. "From Tango to Twerk, Swing to Shuffle, Ballet to Belly dance, and Hip-hop to Hustle, American Indian war dances and other dances from all cultures will bring us together without violence. We'll turn the floor of the UN General Assembly into a dance hall!"
The official start of Michael's campaign (September 8th) will coincide with the first opening of his gallery's grand final show aptly named "The Michael Ingbar Gallery Final Show." When asked about the purpose of his final show, Ingbar said, "We're having a big sale of art work, amassed over my long career in order to raise awareness and support for my campaign. Also, I don't think I'll have room to hang everything in the White House." Works on sale will start as low as $1.00 for invitations from old exhibitions to $12,000.00 for a rare Richard Haas etching of the Brooklyn Bridge. Donations are not legally permitted for his campaign, so support him by buying art.
Guests at the exclusive opening will be treated to Michael's first official speech as a candidate in which he'll lay out his entire Presidential platform, including his plan for his first thirty days in office. “I tend to mumble when I speak so people just don’t understand me. Therefore I say, ‘If you don’t know what I’m saying how can I lie to you?’”
The evening event will feature music, dance competitions, refreshments and, of course, orange juice.
First prize winners in the dance competitions will get top consideration for cabinet posts in Michael's administration, and to be the Dance Party's official dancers against Trump and Clinton on October 8th.
Dress code: All attendees must wear a skirt, dress or bowtie. (Vintage clip-on bowties may be rented for the evening for $10 or can be purchased for $25 at the door - we will not rent or sell skirts or dresses!) NOTE: DUE TO THE 8TH BEING THE START OF 90+ DEGREE HEATWAVE, WE WILL ALSO PERMIT BATHING SUITS, AND INSTEAD OF PAYING FOR OR RENTING A BOW TIE, YOU MAY MAKE A PAPER BOW TIE ONE FROM OUR SUPPLIES.
DANCE COMPETITORS NEEDED! ALL STYLES OF DANCE!
Please RSVP to info@michaelingbargallery.com as our building is high-security and you and/or your guests must be on the list to gain entry.
